Sunshine on a Cloudy Day

Hurray,,finally we have had sun two days in a row. No mail, or choppers but still sun!!!!!

This month hubby came home from his trip to Ivory that was a long 5 wks. But we are glad that he is home and it was an experience to have had the water go over the house just not happy to have it take out the sat dishes for internet and tv. Yet did not take him long and we had new dishes out to him and they where all up and running before he got home.

We are hoping to head out late Feb he will go for a few days and I will go for a month. Get to see our son's family and of course good friends and other family.

I must say that I am happy that I have my own personal phone line as it was really months before they finally got the guard one up and running daily. Very hit and miss when the weather was sort of good they would run up and do what they could before the weather changed. Not easy I know.

I am looking forward to my time out and am planning my big trip in the fall. Odd time to be thinking of booking a trip but out here you have to. You get have to see if there are seats on the planes, and if people will be home, and leave enough time to see the family and friends in Vancouver.

Well not must to say this time out expecting our groceries and I guess our mail Feb 1st if this weather will hold. Humm wondering if anyone other than family ever reads this.. well either way it is good Oh yes we did have a chopper yesterday but... the radio guys had a non guard chopper and they did not even think to see if there as a thing like mail they could have brought out.. talk about on upset cookie out here. So now we know that even people we work with do not even think about us being out here and the isolation. Very interesting....
