Well time is flying by. There was a few days of rain and overcast but they (?) are saying that the weather will get better but no doubt will go again over the weekend oh well such is life but alot less rain here than up at the Bluff. I heard today that it was raining foggy and just plain yukie. Has really been a bad summer up there.
It was nice here as I had our grand daugther here for overnight which was great as well my friend here had her 3 old grand daugther as well. So we had to little girls having a ball. To wake up in the mornig to a little one climbing into bed and touching your face saying good morning is a great feeling and brings back memories of times like that with our son. I have found that the older one gets the more those memories are lovely and seem to forget all the bad ones that go with the growing up of our children, or our own grown period for our Parents.
One would think that maybe that is how life is to go so that as we grow older we only have good thoughts and feelings about what we have left behind and the grandchildren are to help us remember those good ones we had in our life and so the circle of life goes.
We had a sad happening here last week my friend had to have the family pet put to sleep. Minky (cat) was 19 yrs old and was have all sorts of problems so it was much kinder to have let her rest. Everyone found it very hard even me as I have know Minky for 14 yrs. But over all we knew it was for the best she was only going to have more problems. Sad that we cannot allow people the same choice as they near the end of their life. Oh well it is hard to do for our pets one cannot imagine how hard it would be for one we love and have spent the largest part of our life with.
Well time to go and get ready for the carpet cleaners and then maybe head out to get my jacket (Pea) that is dating me oh well.. have a good day from the Couver
